Well located typical sights

Those interested in seeing the typical sights in Brussels are also well located; the famous Manneken Pis statue is only 650 m from the hotel, right in the tourist centre of Brussels. To fully appreciate this statue, you can also see Jeanneke Pis (160 m from the hotel – a more modern female version) and Het Zinneke (800 m away – a dog version).

In B-aparthotel Brussels Grand Place our breakfast partner, Mokafe, is located in the historical Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert, giving you the opportunity to enjoy this cosy and oh-so-Belgian atmosphere and tourist attraction while simply starting your day.

If you love shopping… Rue Neuve or Nieuwstraat, the main high street is located 200 m from B-aparthotel Brussels Grand Place. The immediate area around Grand Place is also great for gift and souvenir shopping.

We can recommend a chocolate or waffle making workshop in the Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert, mentioned earlier, as you will both be able to enjoy delectable Belgian food and recreate it when you get home. You definitely need to visit one of our famous chocolate shops!

Photographers and nature lovers will enjoy the Royal Greenhouses of Laeken (6 km away), the Sonian Forest (10 km from the hotel) or the Bois de la Cambre (6 km from B-aparthotel Brussels Grand Place).

Family fun

For families and train enthusiasts we can vouch for Train World in Schaerbeek, a rather large museum dedicated to anything and everything to do with trains. The best way to get there? You guessed it. By train!

Looking to do something a little different? How about a ride in an elevator? Try the Ascenseur de Marolles at Place Poelaert and avoid a steep walk up to the Palais de Justice (Courthouse) to enjoy the view.

Museums

Another tourist attraction many of our guests enjoy is the Magritte Museum, only a 10-minute walk from the hotel and opposite the appealing Musical Instruments Museum (an excellent place to enjoy lunch and the view from the rooftop terrace if the weather allows.)

Visit more of Belgium

Brussels is very accessible via all kinds of transports. Brussels Central train station (Gare centrale) is only 400 m away. As Belgium is a small country with one of the closest train networks, a day to any of the other major cities is very doable.
